Key milestones in the Pekintaş journey from manufacturing and engineering to building systems and renewable-energy technologies.
Founder Özkan Olcay graduated from Istanbul Technical University and began his engineering career. In the same period, the activities of Pekin İnşaat, which formed the corporate foundations of Pekintaş, began.
Production of precast irrigation channels began. Pekin İnşaat Limited was established, and irrigation projects across the Bolu, Düzce, Bursa and Adana plains were completed.
Pekinsan Pekin Sanayi ve İnşaat Komandit Şirketi was established. Logistics and construction-site support units began operations.
Pekintaş Pekin İnşaat Endüstri ve Ticaret A.Ş. was established. Production of precast and prestressed structural elements used in industrial buildings began.
Pekintaş Çelik Hasır A.Ş. and Pekintaş Dış Ticaret A.Ş. were established. The welded-wire-mesh and fencing systems factory entered operation.
Aluform Pekintaş A.Ş. was established with Germany’s VIAG Holding to produce polyurethane- and rock-wool-insulated sandwich panels and joined the Group.
Annual production and installation of enclosed building area reached 835,000 m².
The ISO 9001 Quality Management System was established and the Pekintaş brand was registered by the Turkish Patent Institute. The Gold Star Award and ISO 9001:2000 certification were also among the milestones of this period.
Pekintaş Group celebrated its 50th anniversary and received the Quality Crown Certificate / QCK 100 award in the same year.
While one of Europe’s most advanced sandwich panel production lines was being commissioned, the Alusolar investment was also brought to fruition.
Schmid Pekintaş Enerji A.Ş. was established in partnership with Germany’s Schmid Group. Work began on high-quality photovoltaic solar panels and solar-power-plant accessories.
A company focused on cold-storage panel production was established in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, and the Türkmen Panel brand was registered. Pekintaş also entered Türkiye’s second 500 largest industrial enterprises and top 1,000 exporters lists.
SPI Schmid Pekintaş Investments was established with Turkish-German capital for turnkey industrial facilities and process-engineering projects requiring advanced technology; initial projects in Tatarstan and Argentina were launched.
Kazakhstan Too Pekintaş joined the Group and obtained first-category contractor qualification. Temmuz Güneş Enerji Üretim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. was also established in the same year.
APCON, which operates in the field of steel structural systems, has joined the group of companies.
Following the long-term cooperation between Aluform Pekintaş and Bruti-Ing, the AluformBruti joint venture was established in North Macedonia for sandwich-panel production.
We were awarded the Golden Beam – Prefabricated Concrete Product Award by the Turkish Precast Concrete Association.
DePower Enerji Üretim Ltd. Şti. was established within Pekintaş Holding on 17 November 2022, creating a new energy structure for storage-integrated solar-power-plant projects.
SPI Yenilenebilir Enerji A.Ş. was established on 26 January 2023, expanding Pekintaş’s engineering, procurement and turnkey delivery capabilities in renewable-energy projects.
P-Tech Solar Hücre Üretimi Teknoloji ve Ticaret A.Ş. was established on 24 June 2025. Temmuz Enerji won the right to develop 200 MWe of capacity for the Karaman Solar Project in the YEKA GES-2024 tender; the project is planned at approximately 300 MWp installed capacity.
